Don’t you love it when a friend shares something yummy with you, and then shares the recipe?! Well, that’s the story of this Holiday Crunch. My friend, Kelli, who is a fabulous cook shared this fun, oh so easy holiday treat with me years ago. I’ve been making it ever since. Sweet. Salty. Crunchy. Buttery. And, it makes a great holiday gift – but hurry if you’re gifting, otherwise you will eat it all up!
Holiday Crunch
2 bags of microwave popcorn, popped and any un-popped kernels removed.
6 cups of corn pop cereal
1 – 9.25 oz bag of original Fritos Corn Chips
1 – 16 oz bag of mini twist pretzels
36 oz of white chocolate baking chips (the ones that are just like choc. chips)or any white chocolate that melts.
Directions:
Place all ingredients in large pan roomy enough to toss the mixture. Melt white chocolate according to package directions.
Pour over the other ingredients and mix it up(fold and fold)you don’t want to break chips or anything so fold gently)
Pour onto parchment paper to dry, spreading it out with back of spatula. Once dry, break apart and store in airtight containers in cool, dry place.
Enjoy!
Yield: Approximately 36 cups
